Walking distance to the bus station… there is a starbucks 2 mins away from the hotel. The convenient store 7/11 is just 30 seconds from the hotel. Walking distance of 15 minutes to Kyoto centre, pontocho alley… For those with heavy luggages, the lift of the station is between 7/11 and starbucks. So just be mindful, you don’t need to cross the street to the train station. There are little coffee shops and a very nice bakery in the alleys.

The location is great for getting around by foot or for travel with two stations with different lines very close. They had a good range of amenities (bath powder, face masks, hair conditioning treatments, etc., in addition to the usual stuff) and breakfast had different options each day which kept it interesting. The staff were really helpful in sending my luggage onto the airport for me. It was also really handy to be able to borrow an umbrella from the entrance.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, perfect for two people, and we were even able to have three suitcases open on the floor at the same time! We could also pick up our own pajamas and amenities like toothbrushes at the reception, which was a nice touch. The washing machine was also super convenient. The location was great, close to a metro station and not far from Kyoto Main Station. You could even take a direct train from the nearby metro to Osaka, which was very handy.

There was much to like. Location was excellent - great connectivity with easy and convenient access to public transportation and attractions and the neighbourhood was full of food gems. Entrance to the hotel was a quiet and zen-like corridor without the hustle and busy-ness of most hotels. Staff were polite with a ready smile and very much willing to help. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The free amenities are a wonderful touch.

The location was 3 minutes using the Karasuma Line and getting off at Shijo Station. Beside the Hotel was a 711 that was only 1 minute away. The location was a primary reason that I decided to stay here, and Nishiki Market was about a 15-minute walk away. The room was a good size, the three beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was a decent size. Also, I want to mention that I appreciated getting two pillows, one soft and one hard. In this hotel, there are toiletries (small hairbrush, toothbrush, Q-tips, razor, cleansing face packets, tea, coffee, and clean two-piece pajamas) in the 2nd floor across the checking desk. There is also a laundromat that takes 300 yen to wash and there's no need to have soap since it's already included in the wash. The dryer is only 100 yen but I did have to run the dryer twice to get my clothes dry. I did not get the breakfast, but you are able to buy it at check in. I remember they told me it was 1,400 yen per person to add it on. I did not get it, because I wasn't planning to get up early, but I did see the menu because they post it near the elevator. Near the hotel, there is another line I took to go to Osaka. The location was truly exceptional. Overall, it was an incredible place to stay and relax. My family enjoyed staying here and we are planning to come back to stay here.

I loved the entrance and the facade of the building that appeared very traditional. All the staff were polite and welcoming. Especially the kitchen staff for breakfast buffet was especially nice . We enjoyed the Japanese breakfast with different choices. Room size was just right for a Japanese hotel. There is a convenient store in the same block. We also enjoyed eating at the food hall in the building across the hotel.

The experience I had in this hotel was excellent! The location was perfect. It was located just across Sujo subway station, and it had a 7-Eleven next to it. But also you can walk easily to Gijon, and there were a lot of restaurants nearby. The room was bigger than your typical APA hotel style rooms. Great view. Breakfast was buffet style from 6:30 which was really nice. The staff was really helpful. They even had an ice cream vending machine!

The hotel is very centrally located in Kyoto and has a slightly classical Japanese touch. The first impression was great and continued to be so. The staff spoke very good English and were extremely helpful and friendly. I unfortunately fell ill on my trip and the receptionist was absolutely lovely and helpful. He called doctors, got me an appointment and printed out a guide with Japanese terms that helped me a lot when I went to the doctor. The room and the whole hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff in charge of breakfast were extremely friendly and very caring. I would stay here again at any time :)
